Audition for Ashtapadi 1008 @ Guruvayur Temple🙏

School of Gita Govindam is inviting Musicians, Singers and Carnatic Music Varnam / Krithi level students to participate in the Upcoming Ashtapadi 1008 Sampoorna Samarppanam on Sunday, 13th August, 2023 at Guruvayoorappan Auditorium, Guruvayur Temple. 1008 people will be performing at Guruvayur in this event.

You have to upload in MP3 Format only your singing of the Pallavi of any Varnam or Krithi for Audition in the Google Form given below to Sign Up for Audition. The Selection Panel will listen to your upload and will be intimating you if you are selected.

The entire programme will feature Thodaya Mangalam, 24 Padams of Ashtapadi and Guruvayoorappan Mangalam. If you are selected, a Participation Fee of Rs.2424/- (Rs.101/- for each Padam) will have to be paid online. Classes will happen once or twice a week and it is mandatory that participants attend the Zoom Classes for thorough learning. Class Recordings, Solo Recordings and Lyrics of Gita Govindam will be shared to the Participants through Online Student Dashboard. It is mandatory that all people who are selected MUST BE PRESENT at Guruvayur Temple in Kerala for Samarppanam.
