  1. Dear Anuradha, Musical Greetings to you & Mahesh…. Gratefully and thankfully acknowledge the contents in the article. Wonderful article on senior citizen & Music…. Yes, music can do a lot to overcome loneliness; It can change perceptions.

In light of the increasing population of older people and our commitment to developing an age friendly society and country, it is imperative that attitudes towards ageing and older people are explored. As brought out,Music can be one area of research and where your contribution as a scholar in music can be of great help.

    Thanks & Regards

    Kumar

  2. Superbly written post. The line “… a new job, marriage, becoming a parent etc are all gift wrapped tough experiences that he undergoes in his life.” is an excellent way to express this idea. Thoughts about music, trust and acceptance are profound and moving.

  3. read your article with interest.I had learnt music in childhood like all families and studies work and responsibilities take over in life.
as a person close to senior citizen state ,semiretired state with most of my responsibilities over , I have started listening to music as a hobby. I have been thinking if I can start learning ,again just for my personal enjoyment . do you have any ideas?
